Privacy Policy

We collect the information you give us: your name and email, the details and photos of your business, your support messages, and the business name and address entered into a free visibility check. We also record your IP address and browser for security and fault finding.

We use it to run your account, publish and distribute your listing, process payments, answer your questions, and keep the service secure. We send marketing email only if you have agreed to it, and every one carries an unsubscribe link.

The business details you enter are published on a public page and sent to directory sites, which is the purpose of the service. If you use a home address or personal phone number as your business contact, it will be published. Your login email, password, payment details and support messages are never published.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run parts of Gogenx for us: payment processing, email delivery, AI content generation and analysis, and cloud storage and backups. Each is bound by contract to use it only for that purpose, and a current list of them is available on request. Some are based in the United States, so your information is transferred internationally under standard contractual clauses.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and passwords are stored hashed so nobody at Gogenx can read them. Card details are processed by Chargebee and never stored on our servers. If a breach ever affects your data we will notify you and the regulator within 72 hours.

We use two cookies, both necessary to sign you in: one holds your session for 14 days and one is a security token that lasts until you close your browser. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. Your dashboard remembers which page you last had open, and that stays in your own browser.

We keep your account and listings while your account is open and for 30 days after you close it. A free visibility check made without an account is deleted automatically after 30 days. Invoices are kept as long as tax law requires.

You can edit your information at any time in your dashboard, and Settings has a Delete my account button that removes everything, unpublishes your pages and cancels any paid plan. For a copy of your data, email us and we will send it free of charge within 30 days.
